Definition of operational access conditions for access from the existing and from the new line. Cost calculation of the terminal investment and operations costs and economic situation as input into a CBA. Application for funding from EU.

Location options, layout, access, operations structures and market analysis
The planed Halkali – Kapikule line (HKRL) in Turkey will provide a high speed rail link for services from and to Europe. For freight trains a terminal is foreseen that should serve as local intermodal terminal for greater Istanbul and as HUB for rail transport to the Asian part of Turkey.
